What is Updoc's Community Access Program?

Getting access to healthcare can be harder in regional areas - appointments are less available, travel time to doctors’, and waiting times mean putting your health on hold.

Updoc is already supporting regional communities - 37% of Updoc consultations already come from rural, remote, and regional areas (MM2-MM7)

The Updoc Community Access Program is designed to make things simpler. By offering 12 months of free access to online GP telehealth, we’re giving people in the Upper Hunter and Mid Coast regions another way to get care — without the long drives or long waits.

This program also helps us understand how telehealth can better support regional communities. We'd love to offer this to more communities which is why what we learn will be used (in an anonymised way) to support stronger, long-term access to healthcare in areas like yours.

We will be hosting free library information sessions at Scone, Murrurundi, Cassilis, Foster & Taree libraries to help answer questions and help anyone who wants support getting set up. These sessions are optional and free. The free 12-month Updoc Pro subscription is available to everyone in the region - while spots last (we're starting with 1,000 free memberships).
